A stealth startup within Mr. Youth, Mashable's Social Media Agency of the Year, is looking for a rising star to join this tech startup at the ground level. Based out of the Chelsea Market Mr Youth offices in New York, the Business Development Strategist will join a small team responsible for developing a ground breaking new company within the agency.

Mr Youth already has a history of developing successful tech companies (RepNation) and a star studded client roster, award winning case studies, a history of delivering measurable ROI for clients and a proprietary best in class technology platform.

The Business Development Strategist will play a key role in the launch of the new company. He/She will enjoy working in a fun, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and thrive being around creativity and excitement. He/She will bring a creative and strategic approach and a desire to learn and grow quickly within an organization.

KEY REQUIREMENT:
2+ years' experience in marketing, strategy and/or strategic sales; must be a prove strategic thinker, able to understand and analyze client needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key responsibilities include: • Develop sales presentations and marketing materials • Identify key target prospects • Manage sales pipeline and meetings • Attend all sales pitches and analyze client feedback • Present client feedback analyses to executive management team weekly • Recommend new strategies and client opportunities • Train new clients on our product, finding ways to increase usage and ROI for clients • Participate in team brainstorms and product evolution • Work closely with executive management on a daily basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Key qualifications include:

•  College Degree from a reputable university. 

•  2+ years' experience in marketing, strategy and/or strategic sales. 

•  Strategic thinker, able to understand and analyze client needs. 

•  Strong organizational skills, able to capture and display data effectively. 

•  Credible, able to train and educate clients on our product. 

•  Outstanding ability to draft creative, powerful and strategic proposals. 

•  Entrepreneurial background or attitude.  

•   Strong written and spoken communications skills.  

•   Strong passion for and understanding of social media, word of mouth and major shifts in media and advertising. 

•   Personable and work well in a collaborative environment. 

•  Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to come up with new ideas and advise on new revenue streams and offerings. 

•   A good sense of humor a plus. 

COMPENSATION:

Competitive Base Salary plus Strong Commission Structure
